Green Hell

I'm now reading a book called Green Hell by Steve Milloy. The subtitle says, "How Environmentalists Plan to Control Your Life and What You Can Do to Stop Them." It's quite revealing and fascinating. There's much to do to stop this onslaught from the fringe left wing.

What Americans Really Want

I just finished reading What Americans Really Want . . . Really by Dr. Frank Luntz. We see him a lot on the Fox News Channel. Some of the parts I especially like in the book include the chapter entitled "God Help Us", about what Americans think about religion and the impact it has on their lives, and Priority #2 in the back, "Renewing Our Celebration of the American Family". Under this latter heading, he includes a list of six things parents need to know about rearing healthy, mature, stable children.

Rush Limbaugh as Miss America judge

I think it's a hoot that Rush Limbaugh is one of the judges of the Miss America pageant. I note that his questions to the contestants seem to be based on our country and what they think of it and what they think it means to be an American. Amen Rush.

Thank you Scott Brown

I guess I'm still breathing a sigh of relief over the election of Scott Brown in Massachusetts. I just hope this will tide us over (i.e. prevent any of the major destructive legislation from passing) until November. At that point there should be a major shift in the demographics of both the House and the Senate.
